  • We use your email address to sign you in using a one-time code.
  • We store quiz results linked to your account so you can track progress.
  • We do not ask for names, addresses, phone numbers, or photos.
  • Some quizzes may be generated using AI. We do not send your email address to the AI provider.

2) Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, used for sign-in.
  • Quiz activity: quizzes taken, answers, scores, and progress linked to your account.
  • Technical information: basic device and network data processed by our infrastructure to deliver the service and keep it secure (for example IP address, timestamps, and basic request logs).

3) How we use information

  • To sign you in and maintain your account.
  • To provide quizzes, track your results, and show progress.
  • To keep QuizIX reliable and secure, and prevent abuse.
  • To improve the product, debug issues, and support users.

4) AI and content accuracy

QuizIX may use AI to help generate quizzes and enrich book metadata. AI can make mistakes. Content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

What we send to the AI provider

We aim to send only the minimum information needed to generate quiz content (for example book title, author, description, and reading level when available). We do not send your email address to the AI provider.

Book catalog sources

Some book information may come from third-party catalogs, such as a school or library catalog, and may be enriched using AI. Source catalogs may contain errors or incomplete information. Please verify important details with the original source and let us know if you spot an issue.

5) Sharing and service providers

We use trusted service providers to run QuizIX (for example hosting, authentication, email delivery, database, and AI services). They process information on our behalf to provide the service.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.

6) Cookies and local storage

QuizIX uses essential cookies or local storage needed for sign-in and core functionality. We do not use advertising cookies.

7) Data retention

  • We keep your account and quiz history until you delete your account.
  • Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymized.

8) Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk.

9) Your choices and rights

  • You can delete your account in the Profile page.
  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information.

10) Children

QuizIX is intended for users aged 13 or older. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should create and use the account.
